Pantry is the student run food outlet in college. It is located in the JCR next to the email terminals.

In Balliol, there are two places to eat. There is the "Hall", which is run by the college, and which serves hot lunch and dinner seven days a week, and there is the "Pantry", which is in the Junior Common Room, and is run by the Foody Brothers.

It serves cooked breakfasts as well as cereal, pastries and fruit in the morning; sandwiches, crisps and cakes at lunch and tea; and cooked food in the evenings. Come at breakfast for a fry up; at 1 o'clock to grab a sandwich and catch up with almost everyone in Balliol (weekday lunchtimes are very busy, with most students coming to the Pantry/JCR to chill out and relax), or 7pm dinner for tasty and filling fast food.

Breakfast: 08:30-11:30 Itemized Cooked Breakfast Cereals and Toast Tea, Coffee

Lunch: 13:00-13:45 Fresh Sandwiches Pasties Crisps Pastries and Cakes Tea, Coffee

Afternoon Tea: 15:30-17:00 Same as lunch

Dinner 19:00-20:00 Potato oven - separate menu coming soon

Juice and soft drinks are available at every meal.

NB: Pantry does not open for lunch or dinner on Sundays, and afternoon tea starts at 16:00 instead of 15:30. The exception to this is when a GM is on a Sunday night. The Foody Brothers will then provide a normal dinner menu.
