General Meetings are the most important thing about the running
of the JCR. They give everyone in College the forum not only
to ask for things to me done, but to make sure that the JCR
Committee is doing what it should. Anyone can bring a motion
asking for the JCR (or a representative of it) to do something
(it’s easy, but anyone on the Committee will be happy
to help you – e-mail jcr.president@balliol.ox.ac.uk)
So come along to the next GM, get involved, air your opinions,
and make sure the JCR is democratic and in touch with everyone
in College.
