In an emergency, contact the Lodge at (2)77777 (drop
the 2 if dialing from an internal phone)
Condoms are available from the machine in
the toilet opposite the JCR Office, up the first couple of
steps in staircase 16. The machine dispenses strong and regular
condoms, and takes 2 pences. There should always be some 2ps
hanging around in the dispensing part of the machine.
Lube is in a folder on the JCR Office door. If you find the
condom, lube or 2p supply has run out, please email Dr WHO
on
jcr.welfare@balliol.ox.ac.uk
and we’ll sort it out asap. The condoms and lube are for emergencies only. If
you need a regular supply, buy your own. They are paid for
by your JCR levies, so if people start hoarding them, the
levies will have to be increased.
The Terrence Higgins Trust also provides free condoms and lube suitable
for anal sex. 43 Pembroke Street (01865 243389)
Mount Tampax is the free supply of tampons
and sanitary towels, and is kept on the ground floor of staircase
10. Supply issues should be reported to the women’s
officers:
jcr.women@balliol.ox.ac.uk
Pregnancy Tests are also available from
the women’s officers.

her, ring her on 07881 836803 or (2)77737 during working hours,
email her at alison.nicholls@balliol.ox.ac.uk or leave a note
at the lodge and she can visit you in your college room or
house. She can provide repeat prescriptions, doctor’s
appointments (usually same day) and emergency contraception.
