University Counselling Service
The University has a confidential Student Counselling Service for assistance with personal, emotional, social and academic problems, staffed by a team of professionally trained and widely experienced female and male counsellors, psychotherapists, psychologists and a psychiatrist. The Service is available free throughout the year, except for periods at Christmas and Easter when it is closed. An initial appointment can usually be made within 5 days of contacting the service, and they then aim to offer regular counselling as soon as possible. More information
Appointments can be made on (2)70300 or reception@counserv.ox.ac.uk

OUSU Student Advice Service
The Student Advice Service is run by OUSU Sabbatical officers, and offers support, advice, information and advocacy. Anything you’d like more information on, or anything you’d like to talk over, the Student Advice Service can offer informed, confidential and non-judgemental listening. They can also represent you or your concerns to the university, to college or to any other body. Because they’re on sabbatical, dealing with students’ concerns and problems is their first priority.
The service runs between 10 and 5.30 on weekdays, and can be contacted for appointments or questions on advice@ousu.org or by phoning (2)88461. More information
