For most people, the first person they'd go to with a problem would be a friend. Sometimes this isn't possible. When you want to talk to someone who has greater distance from whatever's going on, or talk about something you'd feel uncomfortable discussing with your friends, there are plenty of friendly faces in Balliol or outside the college you can turn to.
